London National Gallery
National Gallery is the one I went the most often when I studied in London. Since it was free. These days, when most museums are free in London, National Gallery is still one of my favourite.
I remember it was the first time I saw Van Gogh's Sunflower in National Gallery. I didn't notice at all, since I didn't expect to see that. Of course, it turned out that there is more than one Sunflower.
I have been to many national gallery, probably as I treated London was one of my home towns, and in Hong Kong, there is actually no real gallery to go. I liked to spend my time inside.
Watching the details of pictures is very enjoyable, the strokes and the style is also amazing. Apart from this one, the Virgin and Child from da Vinci is also very nicely presented. In order to avoid the picture being exposed to light, the picture is dwelling in a little dark room. I still remember I had a good rest in the room, watching the detail of the picture.
